Warranty Policy
1. Warranty Protection
Uplift guarantees that every product sold for personal use is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 (twelve) months from the original date of purchase.
This warranty only applies to the original purchaser of products that have been purchased directly from an authorised Uplift retailer.
The 12-month comprehensive warranty includes coverage for:
* Manufacturing defects.
* Mechanical faults.
* Breakdown of electrical components.
* Structural flaws with normal use.
* Labour for replacement parts where applicable.
2. What Is Included
During the warranty period, Uplift will, at its discretion:
* Fix the item.
* Exchange faulty parts.
* Substitute the supplied product with the same or equivalent model.
* Technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
All repairs and replacements conducted on items in warranty will be free of charge as long as the claim falls within the warranty terms and conditions.
3. What Is Not Covered
This warranty is not applicable to:
* Harm due to inappropriate use, maltreatment, carelessness, or mishandling.
* Unless stated, for commercial or industrial use.
* Harm from wrong installation or assembly.
* Common damage, ongoing usage and wear and tear .
* Damage of a cosmetic nature like scratches, dents, fading or discolouration.
* Damage stemming from surges, water, fire, theft, mishaps, or other calamities.
* Repairs or modifications not authorised.
* Items that can be consumed, such as batteries, cables or accessories, unless defective on delivery.
* Failure to follow product instructions or maintenance guidelines may result in damage.
4. Procedure for Warranty Claim
Customers are required to provide the following information as mentioned below:
* Proof of purchase or invoice.
* Specifications and serial number (if applicable).
* Details of the fault or issue.
* The photos or clips should be relevant to your certificate application.

Uplift reserves the right to inspect the product before approving any warranty claim.
5. Repairs & Replacements
* Repairs may be done using new or refurbished parts.
* Replacement products may differ slightly in appearance from the original product due to product
* Updates or availability.
* Any repaired or replaced product will continue to be covered under the original warranty period.
6. Collection & Delivery
Where relevant:
Customers are responsible for returning the product to an authorized Uplift retailer for assessment.
Uplift may, but is not obligated to, cover the return shipping or collection costs if warranty claim is approved. Any expenses incurred in relation to non-warranty claims shall be for the customer’s account.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Uplift will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the product. This warranty is in addition to your statutory consumer rights, which remain unaffected.
8. General Terms & Conditions
The warranty cannot be transferred.
*If the product is used not in accordance with the manufacturer instructions or South African legal requirements Uplift will not be responsible for any damage or injury.
*You should show a proof of purchase for all warranty claims.
*Uplift can change this policy and its terms at any time without any notice whatsoever.
*The laws of South Africa govern this warranty policy.
